Q- What is disease? How many types of diseases have you studied? Give examples.

Answer- Disease is a condition which interferes the normal functioning of body and impairs the health. There are many types of diseases. 

Diseases are mainly classified into four main types. These are as follows:

1. Communicable diseases: Communicable diseases are those diseases that occur or spread through air or through communicational contact. These disease spread very rapidly as if any healthy person communicate with an infected person becomes the victim of that disease.

2. Congenital diseases: Congenital diseases are those diseases that occur from the birth. For examples: Haemophilia, Colourblindness e.t.c. .

3. Acquired diseases: Acquired diseases are those diseases that occur after birth. These diseases do not occur by birth. For examples: Tuberculosis, Pneumonia e.t.c. .

4. Non-Communicable diseases: Non-Communicable diseases are those diseases that do not spread through air or through communicational contact. These diseases spread through other ways. Some of the non-communicable diseases are Diabetes, Cancer.
