Littering pollution is a type of pollution that is not much popular as well as well known. This pollution is caused due to throwing of waste material such as garbage, plastic bags, fruits & vegetable e.t.c. in the environment. Littering pollution is caused due to throwing of garbage in land and water both. In other words we can say that littering pollution is the combination of water, land and air pollution.

Littering pollution is caused due to ill-mannered people who throw waste or wrappers anywhere in the environment. When we talk about- what is littering pollution so only one factor came in our mind that it is caused due to throwing of waste in land as well as water but these are not only the factors that are responsible for it. There are various other factors that are also responsible for littering pollution.

1. Increase in quality of Litter in the surrounds causes littering pollution.

5. Governments of several countries are not strict about the throwing of waste or garbage in surrounding. This results in spreading of littering pollution in society. Government of every country should charge a big amount of fine for these activities so that we can control this pollution.

Litter:

Litter is the term that is used for the waste or garbage that is thrown by people in the environment that causes littering pollution. When people throw that litter so it starts spoiling land or water or the medium in which it was thrown. After decomposition of that litter it spreads bad smell as well as bacterial that cause several dangerous diseases. The most common litter is tobacco split.

3. It causes several respiratory diseases such as bronchitis, asthma, lung infection e.t.c. .

4. Littering pollution also provides a vast area for vectors of several diseases to breed and spread diseases.

5. Several times littering results in forest fire that causes a huge loss of timber and wildlife.

6. Every year a large amount of money is spent by every country on cleaning litter. This can be saved if no one throws litter in society.

There are various steps that should be followed to prevent spreading of littering pollution. Some of them are as follows:

1. We should carry a litter bag in our vehicles so to prevent this type of pollution.

2. Government should charge fine to those who throw waste material in surrounding.

3. Everyone should follow- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

4. We should make everyone aware about this pollution in other words we should provide other people environmental knowledge so that they prevent spreading of littering pollution.

5. We should not split tobacco in public places and we should try to avoid chewing tobacco.

6. Do not throw garbage such as plastic bags, bottles, fruits & vegetables peel e.t.c. anywhere in the society or in your surroundings.

It is absolutely right that littering pollution causes global warming as we all know that littering pollutes air and if the air becomes polluted so it increases the diameter of ozone hole. That allows UV rays to fall directly on Earth’s surface. This results in global warming.
