Q- What was ‘Waste Land Rules’?
Answer- Waste Land Rule was a set of rule or we can say a rule which was made by government for a particular motive. By this rule, uncultivated lands were taken over and given to selected individuals who were granted various concessions and were encouraged to settle in these lands. This gave a big benefit to government as the waste land areas were used and people who settled in these areas were permanent so that they can easily collect taxes and revenue from them.
