1. The Himalayas are located at the northern border of India that works as a natural shield or divider for India from other neighbouring countries.

2. The Himalayas are the region from where the entire major and minor river originate.

3. Himalayas of India helps a lot in making the climate of India moderate as it provides India a different climate from all over Asian continent.
