Q- Why had the Mandal Commission become a debatable issue in India?
Answer- The Mandal Commission is a commission which is started to provide reservation system for the weaker section of society in government job opportunities. The Mandal Commission becomes a debatable issue in India as some people are agreed with the Mandal Commission as they thought that people of the weaker section of society should get chance to engage in jobs and become more aware.
On the other hand some people were against Mandal Commission as they feels that the reservation system will did partiality among them and this will leads to the chances of the qualified not getting job and other get job due to reservation. This differentiation of two different thinking cause big debates. In this way Mandal Commission become a debatable issue in India.
