This policy is introduced to improve health status of India because health plays a vital role in human capital formation. Improvement in health is also called investment in human capital. Investment in human capital is the biggest or most beneficial investment that yields a very big profit.
The investment made in human capital gives the best product as compare to investment made in any other capital because human is the only one who can utilize all the other resources such as land, labour and physical capital. Nowadays, countries such as Japan, South Korea e.t.c. have low resources but have interest in Human capital and are one of the largest economies.
In other words the country which invests his economy in human capital is the most powerful of the future.
