How to create a good advertising page

How to create a good advertising page:

One of the main (and my favorite) source of income for making money blogging is selling private ads. There are several ways to apply to show your ads on your blog, but this is a topic that will be covered later. Today I would like to give you some tips for having a complete “Advertise Here” page.

Whether or not you get advertisers depends entirely on the traffic you receive. But other than that, advertisers need to get a good first impression of the way you work. A good impression is always important, but you must be wondering how can someone make a good impression on a blog page?

The answer is quite simple. When it comes to the famous advertising pages here, there are a few tips you can apply to have an eye-catching page.

How can you do it? Just by following a few quick and easy steps. * Please note that these tips are not ABCs of attracting advertisers and getting $ 5,000 in the first month.

What should you include (and NOT) on your advertising page

– A contact form: Here’s a secret: humans are lazy. What do you prefer to do? Get the blog author’s email, access your email account, and send the message? Or just write the message in a contact form with your email address? I would choose the second.

Setting up a contact form is quite simple using this plugin.

– Provide information: you must tell your audience and your visitors how many visitors and subscribers you have.

The information you need to post is:

– RSS Subscriber Number: While it’s not guaranteed that your subscribers will visit your blog every day, as noted above, this is proof of your power. Apart from that, you can put any of your advertiser banners in the feed page.

Why are RSS subscriptions important?

1) Attract advertisers: the more people, the better.

2) Prove your social power: We know that the more RSS subscribers you have, the more social power, reputation and popularity you will have.

– UV: you will obviously have to indicate the number of unique visitors that you receive per month, because this is one of the main concerns of the advertiser. You can include screenshots from Google Analytics or Sitemeter (to name a few) if you want, but it’s not necessary.

– Page views: another major concern for advertisers. Pageviews are important to them because the more pageviews you have, the more exposure their ads will be.

– Advice. It would be nice if you could get a visitors / pageviews. This is not essential information, but it is good.

– Alexa Rank: The same goes for the Alexa Rank. If your website ranks among the top 100,000 websites, you are lucky enough to find a bunch of advertisers. Other than that, social proof again.

– Technorati ranking: it is more popular than the one related to traffic. But that’s usually what rules the world, so the lower you have the better. Either way, having popularity means having traffic, so remember Technorati rankings.

– Supported ad format: You should let advertisers know what type of ads are supported, to give them an idea of what kind of ad they should create. For example, 125 × 125 ads have become very popular in the blogosphere. In addition, you should also indicate whether you support animated gif or not.

– Testimonials: You must have had advertisers before, but if you can get a comment from them about how great their advertising experience has been, there’s a good chance you will get more advertisers.

Lastly, one thing you should never do (from my perspective and personal experience) is post the rates. I know advertisers personally, and all of them really value privacy and don’t want people to know how much they are paying to have their ads on your blog.

So, to sum it up, you need to include as much information as possible, at least when you reach a decent number of readers, subscribers, and ratios, so that advertisers have an easier time.

If you have any other ideas, don’t forget that you can drop a comment. I will update the post and include your idea with a link to your site.
